YOUR FIRST VISIT

We are located at 70 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2. If you are coming by car, you will find a map and directions on our website. There is an abundance of meter parking available directly outside the clinic or right across the road.

We would kindly ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time so we can register you as a patient and complete the normal paperwork (insurance details, medical history forms etc.).

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU

If you have been referred by your dentist he may have given you some documents to take with you including dental x-rays.

If you have any additional dental x-rays taken in the last few years, we would ask that you bring those along with you too but we may need to take additional x-rays as part of your initial consultation.

A list of all current medications.

Insurance details (e.g. VHI, Aviva, Laya Healthcare etc.)

THE INITIAL EXAMINATION

Your initial assessment at Hampton Dental will take approximately 30 – 60 minutes. We will thoroughly review and assess your medical history and dental problem(s) so that we can provide you with the most suitable and comprehensive treatment plan that best suits your schedule and budget. One or more radiographs (x-rays) may be required to better establish the exact nature of your dental problem. In order for us to fully address your dental needs and to meet your highest expectations it is important that you fill out the dental questionnaire section attached to your medical history as truthfully as you can.

TIPS FOR A HEALTHY MOUTH – DAILY TIPS

Brush your teeth and gums twice a day
Use a toothbrush with a small head and soft bristles
Change your toothbrush every 3 months
Clean between your teeth with floss or interdental toothbrushes everyday
Avoid sugary snacks between meals
Do not smoke
Visit your own dentist and dental hygienist regularly
